Let's talk about one of my favorite blogs that I have been following for years:

I love her and what she makes and how she describes everything.  I used to read her blog when it was not a food blog, way back when.  I don't always have the same tastes as her when it comes to main meals (she doesn't really like chicken cutlets that much!), but her deserts are to die for.  I've made many of her recipes, and they've all been great.  She takes the best pictures too!

I was going to talk about more blogs I like, but I need to go make dinner!!

My new favorite HGTV show is Sarah's House.  She is a fabulous designer (similar to Candice Olson, my other favorite designer) who bought a house and is totally gutting it and redoing it.  Each episode is a new room or two.  I love it.  Check it out, it's on Sat nights, but I usually DVR it just in case.  (oh!  I just noticed full episodes on the site also).

Optic Sea Glass Table Lamp

I bit the bullet and ordered this beautiful lamp in blue from Crate and Barrel.  I wanted it last year for my birthday, but it sold out.  Thank you ATT UVerse for my gift card for signing up with you, you have bought me this lamp.  And also thank you for the wonderful customer service and the 4-show-record-DVR is great too (TimeWarner should take notes).

Shopping finds...

I love tulips.  Trader Joe's has an excellent price on tulips ($4.99) and so I've been treating myself weekly.  This week I got yellow and white since it was Valentines Day:

I bought this white shell thing at Flower Factory in Solon for only $9.99.  I also got the green candle on clearance at JoAnn Fabrics ($4), and the coffee mugs at Flower Factory ($1.39 each).  The third one, without a match, I brought to school.
